Cheyenne Knox

Cheyenne Knox (convicted murderer)

In July 1988, Cheyenne Knox shot and killed his former girlfriend Yvette Stagno in the back of the head with a .28 gauge double barrel shot gun, in Tuolumne County, California. He then hid her body in the trunk of her car, then drove to the Delta Mendota Canal in Alameda County where he dumped her body.

Her car was then driven back to Sonora where it was abandoned at the former Sonora Community Hospital parking lot.

He initially fabricated a story about his dog instructing him to commit the murder but later confessed it was a lie.

He later pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.

Over the years, Mr. Knox has been denied parole multiple times, with the district attorney citing his criminal mindset and potential risk to society.

But now he is on parole
